Admission

The admission process to the two-year B. Ed (Choice Based Credit System) program is completely centralized. All candidates desired to take admission in an English medium B. Ed college need to complete the CET and ELCT exams conducted by State CET Cell. Candidates who are requested can visit the official website of the state CET cell https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ to keep abreast of all necessary announcements.

Applying Procedure:

1. Visit the official website. Click the “Apply Online” option to fill in the MAHA B.Ed
2. CET Application Form.
3. Register by providing your name, contact details and email id. A provisional registration number and password will be generated which should be preserved for future use.
4. Fill in the application form. Enter the correct details. Be sure to enter all the mandatory information.
5. Upload scanned copy of photo and signature as per specifications.
6. Verify the details and SUBMIT.
7. Once the application is submitted, the candidate is required to pay the application fees.
8. Payment can be done online using a Debit/Credit card, internet banking or Mobile wallets.

MAHA B.Ed CET Counselling Process

• The State CET Cell of Maharashtra conducts the counselling process after the
• declaration of the MAH B.Ed CET Result and merit list.
• Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the MAHA B.ED CET
• exam are shortlisted to participate in the MAHA B.Ed CET counselling process (based on the merit list).

• The MAHA B.Ed CET counselling process is also known as the Centralized
• Admission Process (CAP).
• Final admission is done based on the merit of the candidates, seat preferences given
• by the candidates and the availability of seats in the participating institutions.
• The MAHA B.Ed CET counselling process involves registration, verification of
• documents, merit list and seat allotment.
• After the seat allotment, the candidates will have to report to the respective college.
• The authority usually conducts three rounds of counselling every year.
• All original documents will be verified at the respective college during admission process.
