Principal’s message
According to Albert Einstein, the supreme art of teaching is to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. The role of teacher education according to NEP 2020 is to provide Holistic and Multidisciplinary Education which is the very mission of this Institution, the Royal College of Education and Research for Women (RCERW.). It was founded in March 2012, by a great visionary Founder Prof. Asgar.E.Lakdawala, with a view to cater to Muslim Minority Girls. The vision of the institution is to be recognised as a minority institution par excellence having a secular outlook, and imparting value based education. The training provided in this institution is remarkable to face global challenges.
The benchmark of quality is attained through continuous up-skilling in all areas of development. We believe that Pedagogy must evolve to make education more experiential, holistic, integrated, inquiry-driven, discovery oriented, learner-centered, discussion based, value based, flexible, and enjoyable. It is not just theory but an out-come based learning that is what we at the Royal College of Education and Research for Women promote.
The institution in the last decade has produced out- standing teachers who have brought laurels to the Alma mater through their dedicated service to society both locally and globally.
