About Library

Royal college of B.Ed library is in the campus on 4 th floor which covers 1100sq.ft
which is very spacious and it has a capacity for 50 students. Library has open access to ILMS Software E –Granthalaya with internet facility. There are 5000+ books which consist of Reference Books, Textbooks, Encyclopedia and Fiction. There are 25 periodicals in which 15 National and International Journals 10 magazines and 5 Newspapers, displayed in the library. The library timings are from 9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. (Excluding Sunday and BankHoliday)

There are different sections in the library:

Books section- The books are arranged subject wise and the list is displayed on the rack
Reading Hall - It has a seating arrangement for the capacity of 50 students
Periodicals section- All the periodicals are displayed on the rack
Student Reference section - The best selected hardcopies of the assignments which is kept subject wise and the students practice teaching work according to method wise and the students action research work are there for reference purpose for the last 5 years.The Exam Question papers have 4 different files arranged semester wise for the last five years
Circulation section - The students can issue 2 books for 1 week and 2 periodicals for 2 days.

Library facility

The college has subscription to Inflibnet which has E-journals and E-Books.
The Grey material of the rare books is photocopied and copy of that is maintained in the library.
The Specimen copies, Complimentary Books and Donated books are there for the reference.
Book Bank facility was introduced where the books are separately purchased Semester wise and method wise .The Book Bank Inauguration were done where students were being introduced and oriented for this facility which was given free to the students.
The library service is given to Alumni on request.
