The following aspects have been considered while drawing up the Perspective Plan for a

span of five years, from 2017 to 2022 :

Vision

  • To be recognized as a Minority Educational Institution par excellence having Secular Outlook, imparting Value Based Education to the youth, to mold them into Disciplined, Conscientious Citizens of Society who would contribute to the Social, Economic, and Cultural growth of the society

Mission

  • To provide holistic academic programs and an inspiring learning environment
  • To contribute to the personal, professional, and social growth of girl students belonging to the minority community
  • To extend its facilities to other communities within the framework of the constitution of India

Goals of the Institution

  • To prepare humane, creative, reflective, and enlightened teachers as committed professionals in education
  • To make teaching and learning an enjoyable experience

Strengths:

(i) Well-built Infrastructure of the institute

(ii) Eco friendly green campus for sustainable development

(iii) Trusted Brand for quality Teacher Education

(iv) Effective teaching-learning pedagogy: blend of technology-driven innovative student-centric, participative, and experiential learning methods

(v) Supportive Management always available to extend their support in terms of guidance, planning, and execution of college endeavors

(v) Effective feedback mechanism catering to overall improvement and quality education

(g) Inculcating a Value System through curricular and co-curricular activities

 

Weaknesses:

(i)Lack of Research work

(ii) No postgraduate courses are offered in the institution due to no NAAC accreditation

 

Opportunities:

  • Collaborations with stakeholders
  • New courses like like ECCED for primary school teachers or M.A education courses for job opportunities in the field of education apart from teaching as well as Integrated B. Com B.Ed. /BSc B.Ed./B.A B.Ed

Challenges:

  • Changing external environment pose certain challenges to the Institution’s functioning and development
  • Finance: Due to economic crisis in past few years there have been challenges in generating finance.
